About CSP2
Vision, Goals, and Strategies
Vision Statement:
CSP2 aims to equip young people and those who work with them with the tools necessary to fight modern day slavery in their own communities and around the world.
Empowerment:Equip modern day abolitionists with the necessary tools for them to fight modern day slavery head-on.
Strategy:Distribute CDs with tons of information about modern day slavery and what we can do about it to interested students.
Resources for you:We can offer you the CDs for your students. These CDs are valuable tools to students. To order these CDs just fill out the CD request form in the empowerment folder and email it to: sallyr@csp2justiceseekers.com
Community:Create a community of passionate abolitionists who can offer support to each other and unite in their fight for justice.
Strategy:Run an online community (www.csp2justiceseekers.ning.com) where abolitionists can meet to talk about justice, abolition work, prayer requests, struggles, joys, new info, and much more. We also send out a monthly newsletter with updates and prayer requests.
Resources for you:Students can join our online community and interact with other abolitionists. We can also offer help in organizing CSP2 communities in their local communities.
Education:Raise awareness about modern day slavery.
Strategy:We make personal efforts to get the word out in our own community, in addition to working on getting our nation to become more involved in this crisis through public advocacy.
Resources for you:We offer you, the youth leader, quite a bit of information about ways in which you can teach your kids about injustice. This includes recommended bible studies, event ideas, movie lists, book recommendations and plenty more. For the students we offer ideas and resources regarding how they can spread awareness in their own spheres of influence.
Mobilization:Raise money to help equip organizations who fight modern day slavery on the front lines continue with the incredible work they are doing.
Strategy: We work to collectively come up with creative and effective ways to raise money within our own communities.
Resources for you: We offer ideas of ways in which you and your students can become a part of raising the funding needed in the fight for justice.
